Are you a French Teacher who loves bringing language to life and helping students build confidence beyond the classroom? A friendly and forward-thinking secondary school in Wakefield is looking for a passionate MFL specialist to join their team from January
.

This is a great opportunity to inspire students with engaging, practical French lessons that spark curiosity and build real-world communication skills. You’ll be joining a supportive department that values creativity, consistency and high-quality teaching.

• Teach French across Key Stages, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Support students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with a welcoming and experienced MFL team

• Qualified Teacher of French (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
• Positive classroom presence and clear behaviour management
• A genuine commitment to student progress and engagement

• Pay to scale

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
