Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in specialist SEN and SEMH settings across Wakefield
.

These roles involve supporting small classes of pupils with additional and emotional needs, delivering learning activities and interventions, and working closely with teaching staff to support positive outcomes.

• Confident delivery of learning to small groups and whole classes
• Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, Autism and complex needs
• Implementing behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches
• Delivering interventions and supporting engagement with learning
• Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Experience working at HLTA level
• Strong SEN / SEMH experience
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour
• A calm, consistent and adaptable approach
• Good understanding of safeguarding
