Science Teacher Needed in Wakefield

Location: Wakefield

Start Date: September

Contract: Full-time

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join their team this September. Whether you’re a seasoned educator or an ECT finding your feet, this school is all about support, teamwork, and creating lessons that students genuinely enjoy turning up for.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Teaching engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Bringing Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to life in the classroom
  • Creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions
  • Working alongside a friendly department that actually supports each other
  • Helping students build confidence ahead of GCSEs

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A genuine passion for Science and inspiring young people
  • Strong classroom management with a calm, confident approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
