We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and dedicated Teacher (ideally with a specialism in Maths) to join a specialist SEMH setting supporting children and young people aged 11-16 years with a range of additional needs, including:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Trauma and attachment difficulties
- Challenging behaviour
- Communication and emotional regulation needs

The Role- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced significant challenges in education
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Support students’ emotional wellbeing, social development, and self-regulation skills
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, families, and external professionals
- Promote positive behaviour and implement effective behaviour support strategies
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and independence
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience working with SEMH pupils, SEND learners, or students with behavioural needs
- Understands trauma-informed practice and relational approaches
- Has knowledge of Autism, ADHD, attachment difficulties, and emotional regulation strategies
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to improving outcomes for young people
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs
