Kids Club Playworker

Overview

Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area. We are looking for a Playworker to join the Kids Club team at Westerton Primary Academy. Westerton Primary Academy is an inclusive, caring school that provides a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for over 700 pupils in an outer suburb of South Leeds.

• Work constructively as part of a small team, maintaining a safe, calm and happy approach.
• Provide a well‑organised and stimulating environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues, forging good working relationships.
• Collaborate with other professionals across the Trust.

• Experience working with or caring for children of the relevant age group.
• Good communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding students and the welfare of the school community.
• Will be required to undergo pre‑employment checks, two references, an enhanced DBS, medical clearance and provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and evidence of qualifications.
