We are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our team and help deliver a high-quality, personalised education for pupils with additional needs. You will play a key role in creating a calm, engaging and structured learning environment, supporting pupils to build confidence, develop independence and succeed at their own pace. Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals, you will ensure a consistent, trauma‑informed and pupil-centred approach to education and care.

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for individuals and small groups
• Track, assess and report on pupil progress, adapting provision to meet individual needs
• Develop and review EHCP targets, behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans
• Create a safe, stimulating and well‑organised classroom environment
• Work closely with support staff to maximise engagement and learning outcomes
• Support pupils to develop emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour
• Contribute to curriculum development and whole‑school improvement priorities
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, families and external agencies
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and compliance requirements are consistently met
• Play an active role within a collaborative, multi‑professional team

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
• Experience working within an education setting, ideally with pupils with SEND
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and adapt engaging lessons to meet individual needs
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead and coordinate effectively
• A collaborative approach and confidence working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a willingness to work towards further qualifications where required
• Willingness to undertake relevant induction and training on appointment
