Engage Education are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a mainstream primary school in Wakefield. Starting in September, the school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support both KS1 and KS2 pupils. This is a full time (Monday to Friday) 12 week temp to perm position.

• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
• You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD

• A range of behaviour management techniques
• To have worked with learners with a range of needs
• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
• To be able to commit to working at the school for a long period of time
• A resilient attitude
