Overview
Academics are looking for HLTA's to work in schools across Wakefield on both daily supply and longer term assignments. We are seeking talented primary practitioners with high expectations and standards, who will be committed to the progress of all children. Ideally you will have experience in working with children from Reception to Y6 and experience of working with children with EAL and supporting SEN pupils.
Responsibilities- Provide HLTA support in schools across Wakefield on daily supply and longer term assignments.
- Utilise initiative and work flexibly; communicate effectively with children, colleagues and parents.
- GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above and HLTA status or QTS.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques is desirable.
- Experience of working with children from Reception to Y6 and with children with EAL and supporting SEN pupils.
