Trust Education is currently hiring for a Primary Teacher to join our team. This is a role working in a primary school in Normanton, long-term basis starting as soon as possible. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has prior experience to support pupils' progression in the classroom.
This is an exciting chance for a motivated primary teacher to make a real impact in school. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high quality lessons that inspire students, and for creating a nurturing environment where every child can grow.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EHCPs
- Establish and maintain an inclusive and supportive learning environment to enable pupils to increase their confidence, learning and social development
- Have a proven track record of raising attainment in KS1 and KS2
- Support SEN pupils to ensure they thrive alongside their peers
- Work closely with other teachers and support staff across the school and SLT
- Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures
- Write end-of-year reports and attend parents' evenings to discuss progress with parents/carers
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1 and KS2
- A deep understanding of the primary school curriculum
- A passion for teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrates flexibility with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage time effectively
- Ability to identify gaps in learning and implement strategies to close these gaps
- Experience using assessment methods to track and support pupil progress
