Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant looking for flexible work across Wakefield and the surrounding areas?

Do you have at least 6 months’ experience working with children and enjoy helping young learners develop through play, exploration and engaging activities?

Teacher Active is recruiting Early Years Assistants to work across a range of Early Years settings in Wakefield and nearby areas. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for flexible day-to-day work as well as longer-term placements.

The successful Early Years Assistant will:

Have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children
Be confident supporting children within an Early Years environment
Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Support children’s social, emotional and educational development
Have a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding
