Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm for English.
The school is looking for an English Teacher to provide day-to-day or long-term cover, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging English lessons, maintain strong classroom management and provide focused GCSE and A Level support to help students prepare for their assessments.
The successful English Teacher will have:- QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level English
- Strong communication and organisational skills
