You'll lead a two-person installation team on unoccupied domestic properties, taking responsibility for the delivery of Solar PV projects while supporting and developing the installer working alongside you.
The Role As a Lead Solar Roofer, you'll be responsible for leading your team through the 1st fix installations of Solar PV systems. You'll act as the main point of contact on site, working closely with planners, supervisors and the wider operations team to ensure projects are delivered to the required high standards. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Leading a two-person team to deliver New-build Solar PV installations safely and efficiently. Identifying and completing remedial works where required. Providing guidance, training and support to your team member. Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health and safety and customer service. The Package Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 Hours Per Week Resources:

The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you should have:
At least 3 years' experience installing Solar PV systems. Previous experience working on roofs and installing solar mounting systems. Experience leading or supervising a small installation team. Good understanding of working at height and health and safety requirements. Ability to read technical drawings, site plans and installation instructions. Strong communication and organisational skills.
