Job SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide practical and technical support for environmental consultancy projects on commercial, industrial, municipal wastewater and sludge processing projects.
Responsibilities- Operational and Commissioning Support – provide onsite and desk‑based technical process support on operational, commissioning and process consultancy projects as required by the business.
- Project Management – manage all aspects of projects assigned, including development of proposals, producing RAMS, managing resources, time, contractors, client relationships and financial aspects.
- Support QHSE manager with the development, implementation and continued improvement of standard procedures and quality systems.
- Business Development – develop a network of existing and new clients and manage client relationships to support business growth strategies.
- Degree (BSc, BEng or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience collecting and analysing samples, interpreting data, developing scientific reports, and presenting findings to clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dynamic problem‑solving approach with ability to think outside the box.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including away work.
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of water/wastewater chemistry, microbiology, engineering.
- Practical experience on industrial or water utility sites.
- Project Management experience.
- Customer‑facing experience in a professional setting.
- Experience developing SOPs and site engineering (pumps, mixers, aeration systems).
- Experience developing and undertaking laboratory methods.
- Strong report‑writing skills.
- Business development experience.
