Our client is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join their Wakefield office.

This is a standout opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a growing, dynamic consultancy delivering projects across a broad range of sectors. The successful candidate will take ownership of technically challenging schemes from initial concept through to completion, playing a key role in shaping innovative and commercially focused engineering solutions.

The role will involve leading the production of structural design calculations, drawings and specifications, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery, and representing the business at client, design team and site meetings. This position offers real scope to influence projects, mentor others and contribute to the continued growth of the Wakefield office.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience gained across a variety of sectors, with strong technical expertise and the confidence to manage projects independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside proficiency in structural design software such as Tedds, Tekla and Master Series. Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD would be advantageous, though not essential.
