Sales Engineer Utilities

Salary£30,000 - £40,000
Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer Utilities to develop business across the UK, working closely with customers in a technical, field‑based capacity.
This role suits someone with practical industry experience who is looking to move into a more commercial role while still using their technical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Visiting customers on‑site (contractors, utilities, merchants)
- Demonstrating equipment and advising on the right solutions
- Building relationships and growing accounts
- Identifying new opportunities and developing your territory
- Acting as the technical expert customer's trust
- Background as a fitter, technician, or engineer (pipelines, utilities, construction, mechanical, etc.)
- Good practical understanding of tools/equipment used on‑site
- Strong communication skills – able to talk confidently with customers
- Ambition to move into a sales‑focused role
- Full UK driving licence
