Site Engineer – Wakefield

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects across Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. The role will involve carrying out core engineering duties while also taking on elements of site supervision and supporting the wider delivery team.

Working across multiple project types, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and technical compliance. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out for construction activities in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Establish and maintain site control points and ensure all surveying and setting-out activities are completed to the required accuracy.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical information, identifying any discrepancies or issues for resolution.
• Produce and maintain records of setting-out activities and as-built information.
