Freedom has an exciting opportunity for an HV/LV Electrical Manager to lead the delivery of high voltage and low voltage electrical operations across a range of projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery while driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of operational teams. Working in a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment, you will play a key role in shaping electrical delivery and supporting business growth across our portfolio.
KeyDeliverables
- Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations, including installation, maintenance and commissioning activities.
- Manage project delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget.
- Support commercial activities including estimation, tender preparation and bid submissions.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSQE) standards and procedures.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and development to operational teams, driving high performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Oversee planning and resource allocation including labour, plant and materials.
- Develop and implement best practice processes and operational procedures.
- Utilise modern technology and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing HV and LV electrical operations within utilities, construction or industrial environments.
- Strong commercial awareness including estimation and bid preparation.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and electrical standards.
- Customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).
- AP or SAP authorisation for HV/LV systems.
- Experience working with modern digital tools and operational systems.
- Experience delivering projects within regulated environments or for major utility clients.
