We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Private Networks Division as an Engineering Manager. You will be results‑driven with extensive experience leading high‑performing engineering teams in fast‑paced technical environments. Proven ability to drive operational excellence, champion health and safety, and deliver complex engineering projects to the highest quality standards.

Strong background in HV/LV systems, technical leadership, resource planning, and customer‑focused project delivery, with a track record of improving team performance, maximising utilisation, and supporting business growth. Recognised for developing engineering talent, solving complex technical challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and building lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders through collaborative leadership and clear communication.

• Lead and develop a team of engineers within the Private Networks business
• Take overall responsibility for health and safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture
• Ensure high‑quality technical delivery across projects and services
• Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and helping define the right customer solutions
• Work closely with Operations, Project Management, and Service teams to ensure sufficient skilled resources and maximise utilisation
• Improve engineering processes through lessons learned and continuous improvement
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, or equivalent).

IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification.

Experience in a technical engineering environment.

Strong knowledge of HV and LV electrical systems.

Experience leading and developing engineering teams.

Ability to provide technical guidance and solve complex engineering problems.

Experience managing resources in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

• Leadership of engineering teams
• Health & Safety achievements (IOSH/NEBOSH, audits, safe systems of work, zero incidents)
• Experience with HV/LV infrastructure or private networks
• Resource planning and project delivery
• Customer‑facing experience
• Examples of process improvements, cost savings, or increased team performance
• Technical problem‑solving and mentoring of engineers
