Our client is currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their friendly and supportive finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with previous accounts or finance administration experience who is looking for a flexible part-time role within a professional office environment.
As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and administrative processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable transactions
- Entering daily cash receipts and bank transactions onto the finance system
- Preparing bank payments and transfers
- Reconciling bank accounts and finance accounts to bank statements
- Supporting credit control activities and liaising with customers regarding outstanding balances
- Assisting with payroll preparation through timesheet checking and data input
- Maintaining holiday, sickness, and absence records on the HR database
- Supporting the finance team with general administration and ad hoc projects
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance, or administrative role
- Good understanding of accounts payable and bank reconciliation processes
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with accounting software; SAP experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy office environment
Offer:
- Salary of £26,000 - £32,000 pro rata, depending on experience
- Flexible part-time working hours (20-25 hours per week)
