Management Accountant – Wakefield – Up to £55,000 + Bonus

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial, statutory and management reporting that supports the Financial Controller and drives key decisions across the Board. Key Responsibilities
  • Produce full monthly management accounts, insightful reporting and supporting analysis
  • Own the balance sheet including fixed asset register and monthly reconciliations
  • Partner with Senior Management and wider finance teams, providing analysis and reporting versus forecast
  • Present clear, concise financial data to stakeholders at all levels
  • Assist in preparing and submitting statutory accounts and group reporting
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth year-end and audit process
  • Support corporate tax submissions and other statutory returns
  • Contribute to annual planning and reforecasting activities
  • Drive improvements and automation across processes
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team to enhance capability
What You’ll Bring
  • Fully qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA
  • Strong experience producing management accounts and supporting analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to challenge and influence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Gravitas, resilience and a continuous improvement mindset
