EHO / Senior Environmental Health Officer (Health & Safety)

Salary: £39,152 – £46,142 (Grades 9–10)

Location: Wakefield (Hybrid / Office / District-wide)

Hours: 37 per week (Permanent | Part-time & Job share considered)

Join our Health & Safety team to protect the workforce of Wakefield. You will undertake regulatory interventions, including:

• Site inspections and advisory visits.
• Accident and complaint investigations.
• Ensuring legislative compliance across a diverse range of businesses.

• Education: Accredited BSc/MSc in Environmental Health (Students within 1 year of graduating may apply).
• Professional: CIEH/EHRB registration (required for Senior/EHO levels).
• Skills: Valid UK Driving Licence, evidence of CPD, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
• Values: Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate an ambitious, "can-do" approach.
