Our Supported Living Service in Hemsworth, WF9 is seeking 1 x Female Support Worker to provide support to our residents.
This position is for Maternity Cover and is for 40hrs per week and is due to end on 29 May 2027.
Mix of Days and Nights.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Community Integrated Care at our supported living service in Hemsworth.

We want everyone who accesses our services to have the opportunity to live the best life possible. You will be supporting people to work towards outcomes, enabling them to maintain independence.
You will encourage and support people to engage in the local community, clubs, cinema, shows, days out, gym, pub lunches shopping, and activities of our personal choice, they enjoy swimming, family activities and day trips.
You will support a community within Wakefield itself, across several services there are long‑standing friendships, and you will support to maintain these relationships.
We will be closely working with new partnerships, exciting new prospects, and activities for the entire community to enjoy.
Carlton Close is a supported living project for 3 individuals with learning disabilities, 24 hours a day.
The property is a bungalow set in a quiet cul de sac. It has a large communal open plan dining space, it is wheelchair accessible throughout, a beautiful conservatory and ensuites for all the bedrooms.
The property is in the market town of Hemsworth, there are regular buses linking the town with Barnsley, Wakefield and Doncaster.
We live within a short walking distance from a playing field, the local amenities and busy marketplace which contains shops and a range of cafes, a library and a local farm shop.
Other InformationWe will have a core background team on duty 24/7 so there is overnight shifts and we will provide additional 1:1 support, ranging from personal care, housekeeping, and meals to days out and trips to the shops and activities.
