KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide keywork support (including acting as Key Worker where required), maintaining accurate client records and using the Langley Client File to review progress and promote independence. Contribute to a safe, well-run service by following medication procedures, supporting participation and client meetings/involvement (including complaints), supporting prospective/former residents, maintaining safe/tidy environments, and participating in rotas and team meetings. Provide personal care as identified in care plans (including supporting with hygiene, dressing, continence care, mobility/moving and handling, and supporting access to health and social care professionals) and keep health-related records and care plans up to date.
Assess and manage risk and challenging behaviour by using; planning, de-escalation, and knowledge of our clients. Maintain service security and situational/physical safety measures, liaising with relevant stakeholders as needed. ABOUT YOU A compassionate, person-centred approach and a genuine commitment to empowering clients. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build professional, respectful relationships. Calm and resilient under pressure, able to de-escalate situations and respond appropriately to risk.
A professional, non-judgemental attitude, always maintaining boundaries and confidentiality. Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota.
