HR Business Partner

12 Month Fixed Term Contract – Start January

Location:

Wakefield – Hybrid with some national travel

Full-Time – 40 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 plus bonus

Elevation HR are on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Business Partner for a 12 Month FTC. Supporting a fast-paced operational environment, this role offers a unique opportunity to be a key part of a business that values people, processes, and performance.

What

You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the go-to person for all people-related matters, working closely with line managers and colleagues across the business. From employee relations and onboarding to training delivery and policy development, you’ll play a hands‑on role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting core HR functions, including employee communications, training, and administration
  • Administering onboarding processes – from offer letters to right‑to‑work checks
  • Coordinating induction and internal training for compliance and development
  • Managing reporting, data analytics and trends using tools like Makodata and LearnXD
  • Assisting in policy development and training delivery for line managers
  • Liaising with Finance and Payroll to ensure accurate processing
  • Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a Senior HR adviser role and above
  • Part or full CIPD qualification
  • Confidence using HR systems and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of employment law and GDPR legislation
  • Strong people skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work
  • Ability to travel to other sites when needed
