Position: People Development Partner (L&D)

We're delighted to be partnering with a fantastic charity in Wakefield to recruit a People Development Partner (L&D) to join their People team.

Reporting to the People Development Manager, this role offers a great opportunity for an L&D professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, shaping development solutions, and making a genuine impact on people and services across England.

You'll support a portfolio of services nationally, with some travel for face-to-face engagement where needed, alongside virtual delivery. The role offers strong autonomy - you'll manage your own diary, build relationships with service managers, and tailor development support to local needs.

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Promote professional qualifications and apprenticeship opportunities, supporting engagement and completion
  • Provide accessible, regionally tailored learning support that is practical, relevant and impactful

  • Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning programmes
  • Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills
  • Comfortable using LMS platforms and digital learning tools
