Recruitment Resourcer

About the Role Do you have experience working in recruitment and are looking for your next opportunity? United Infrastructure, a rapidly growing business, and as we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to join our Recruitment team. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will work closely with Recruitment Business Partners and hiring managers to identify, attract and engage high-quality candidates across our Infrastructure business.

You will play an important part in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, with a particular focus on candidate sourcing, screening, talent pooling and recruitment administration. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas around how we attract talent and improve the candidate experience. The role would suit an experienced Recruitment Resourcer, Recruitment Consultant or Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys proactively finding candidates and building relationships.

It could also be an excellent opportunity for an agency recruiter looking to move into an in-house recruitment environment.

Key Responsibilities Candidate Sourcing and Attraction Proactively source suitable candidates for current and upcoming vacancies across the business. Use a range of sourcing methods, including Linked In Recruiter, job boards, social media, candidate databases, referrals and direct sourcing. Conduct targeted searches for priority, specialist and difficult-to-fill vacancies. Identify passive candidates and approach them professionally to discuss relevant career opportunities. Develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies to help the business attract candidates in competitive talent markets.

Advertise vacancies across appropriate job boards, social media platforms and other recruitment channels. Ensure job advertisements are accurate, engaging, inclusive and aligned with the requirements of each vacancy. Candidate Screening and Shortlisting Monitor incoming applications and ensure candidates are reviewed in a timely manner. Conduct initial candidate screening to assess experience, skills, suitability, availability and career motivations. Shortlist suitable candidates against agreed role requirements and provide clear candidate information to Recruitment Business Partners and hiring managers.

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing a professional and positive candidate experience. Keep candidates informed of progress, next steps and interview arrangements. Recruitment and Hiring Manager Support Attend vacancy briefing meetings to gain a thorough understanding of each position. Develop an understanding of the skills, experience and behaviours required for different roles across United Infrastructure. Work closely with Recruitment Business Partners to prioritise vacancies and agree appropriate sourcing strategies.

Support recruitment activity across multiple vacancies and business areas, managing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and develop a strong understanding of their recruitment requirements. Talent Pool Management Build and maintain talent pools for frequently recruited, specialist and business-critical positions. Regularly engage with prospective candidates to maintain relationships and keep talent pools active.

Use the Applicant Tracking System effectively to search existing candidate records and identify suitable talent. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the ATS.
