Job Description - Housing Concierge (261231)

Salary £26,300 pa (pro‑rate), £13.45 ph and great benefits including Health Cash Plan. Permanent, Part time (30 hpw), working Monday to Friday from 4pm to 10pm.

Tingley, Wakefield. We can’t offer CoS for this role.

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
• Act as the first line of support for our customers when the wider team or their own support network isn’t around to help
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti‑social behaviour

• Calm under pressure with great communication skills
• Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
• Good judgement and clear communication
• Recognise when things are about to go wrong and intervene sensitively
• Capable of using technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
• Will undergo an Enhanced DBS check (paid by the employer)
