Housing Concierge

Overview

Housing Concierge role in Wakefield. Part‑time (30 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Salary £26,300 per annum (pro‑rata), £13.45 per hour, plus benefits.

Location:

Tingley, Wakefield. We cannot offer a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role. Home Group supports vulnerable customers, including those with complex care needs.

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
• Greet customers and visitors, coordinate repairs or cleaning as needed
• Provide first line support for customers when our wider team or their support network isn’t available
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

You have calm under pressure with strong communication skills, passion and experience in supporting others (personally or professionally), good judgement and clear communication. You recognise when things are about to go wrong and intervene in a sensitive way.

• Working in our extra care service for people over 55
• You’ll work Monday to Friday (4pm until 10pm)
• Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check (we pay for it)
