Safe Anchor Trust, a registered charity since 1995, offers therapeutic boat trips to individuals in the community facing challenges such as physical or mental disabilities, social isolation, age, or economic hardship. Role Description

This is a part time volunteer role based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire Marina Maintenance team member. In this role, you will perform essential tasks such as equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general repair work to ensure the functionality and safety of the marina offices and its facilities. Responsibilities also include inspecting and troubleshooting equipment issues, assisting with maintenance of the marina grounds, and collaborating with team members to keep the environment safe and welcoming for all.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks
  • Understanding of Preventive Maintenance techniques
  • Ability to perform general Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in an outdoor, hands‑on environment
