Safe Anchor Trust, a registered charity since 1995, offers therapeutic boat trips to individuals in the community facing challenges such as physical or mental disabilities, social isolation, age, or economic hardship. Alongside providing serene and inclusive experiences on picturesque waterways, the organization collaborates with the Canal & River Trust to maintain and protect local waterways and their environments. Recognized with The King’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2025, Safe Anchor Trust operates through the dedication of its volunteers to support the wellbeing and inclusion of individuals and families across Mirfield and West Yorkshire.

This is a part time volunteer role based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire Marina Maintenance team member. In this role, you will perform essential tasks such as equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general repair work to ensure the functionality and safety of the marina offices and its facilities. Responsibilities also include inspecting and troubleshooting equipment issues, assisting with maintenance of the marina grounds, and collaborating with team members to keep the environment safe and welcoming for all.

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks
• Understanding of Preventive Maintenance techniques
• Ability to perform general Maintenance and Troubleshooting
