Electrical Maintenance Engineer Yorkshire (DN3, WF9 & S63) 54,000 OTE (Basic + Premium + Bonus) Continental Shifts

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for multiple Electrical Maintenance Engineers on behalf of a leading UK retailer. Due to continued growth, exciting opportunities are available across multiple Yorkshire sites.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing automated warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and reliably 24/7.

• Fault‑find, diagnose and repair PLC‑controlled equipment to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robotic systems.
• Maintain warehouse plant, materials handling equipment and building management systems.
• Respond to equipment failures, investigate issues and liaise with relevant teams.
• Complete health and safety checks, inspections, risk assessments and accident investigations.
• Maintain organised workshops, stores, spares and designated maintenance areas.
• Work safely at heights of up to 20m, with appropriate training provided.

• An apprentice trained craft certificate
• Experience of working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• A proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good computer skills

You’ll work a 42‑hour continental shift pattern on a 4‑week rotation, consisting of 12‑hour days and nights, including some weekends.
