As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of automated production machinery. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring production runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production machinery.
- Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding.
- Diagnose and repair faults to minimise production downtime.
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Work proactively to identify potential equipment failures and improve machine reliability.
- Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Experience carrying out planned, preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician within the UK manufacturing sector.
- Experience working with automated production machinery.
- Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience alongside a strong electrical skill set.
