We’re on the lookout for a confident and motivated Assistant Manager for this site.
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business
, leading the team by example and stepping up to take the reins when needed.

The job in a nutshell

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the pub

  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver excellent customer service

  • Oversee shift operations, manage staff rotas, and handle customer feedback

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance

  • Assist with stock control, ordering, cash handling, and daily reports

  • Help drive sales through great service, events, and community engagement

What we are looking for:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality

  • A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach

  • Great communication skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure

  • A genuine passion for food, drink, and creating great guest experiences

  • Strong organisational skills and a good head for numbers

  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
