Are you a commercially driven sales leader ready to shape strategy, drive growth, and lead a national sales function?
We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Sales Director to play a pivotal role in scaling a growing UK business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s sales strategy, strengthening key client relationships, and leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) across the UK.

As Sales Director, you will:
Lead Sales Strategy & Growth- Develop and execute the national sales strategy
- Identify new markets, growth opportunities, and revenue streams
- Drive revenue performance, forecasting, and sales planning
- Deliver against ambitious growth targets
- Establish KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks
- Optimise sales processes and pipeline management
- Build and strengthen relationships with strategic clients
- Lead high-value negotiations and commercial agreements
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention
- Inspire, coach, and develop a team of BDMs across the UK
- Build a high-performance sales culture
- Recruit and nurture top commercial talent
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Provide strategic commercial recommendations
We’re looking for a confident and credible sales leader with:
- Proven success in a senior sales leadership role
- You must have experience selling products/ services into the construction industry
- A strong track record of driving revenue growth
- Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams
- Expertise in key account management and negotiation
- A strategic, data-driven, and commercially astute mindset
- Leads with energy, clarity, and influence
- Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
- Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Builds strong relationships internally and externally
