Groundworks Supervisor
Linear Recruitment is currently partnering with an expanding high spec housing developer to find an experienced Groundworks Supervisor in West Yorkshire.
They are recruiting a Groundworks Supervisor to lead, support and grow their in-house groundworks team. This hybrid role blends hands‑on work with the organisation, planning and management of a growing team across several live housing projects.
Responsibilities- Site remediation
- Foundations
- Deep drainage
- Plot drainage
- Roads and sewers
- Finishing plot works
- Lead, motivate and develop the groundworks team across multiple sites
- Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site operations, ensuring productivity, safety and quality
- Forward‑plan labour, plant and materials to meet programme requirements
- Read and interpret detailed engineering and technical drawings
- Carry out hands‑on groundworks tasks as required, leading by example
- Use a computer confidently for site reporting, communication and requisitions
- Work with and oversee operatives using advanced plant technology (Engcon + Leica GPS)
- Support continuous improvement and uphold the company's high delivery standards
