Full Time - 40 hours which will include occasional on call.

Gateholme is set in the lovely countryside surroundings of Carr Gate, in Wakefield. Our home offers residential support for 39 males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs.

In addition to people with a learning disability, and autistic individuals, we also support those who have/are:

  • Physical disabilities
  • Dementia
  • A personality disorder
  • Mental health needs
  • Mild to moderate behaviours that challenge
  • Older adults

As the CQC Registered Manager at Priory, you will take overall responsibility for the home, overseeing all areas including budgets, quality, compliance, and the delivery of outstanding care. You will support and inspire your team to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, helping them achieve their goals, develop skills, gain confidence, and engage in meaningful activities within the community.

You’ll lead a compassionate and dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding care. With a strong focus on personalised support and proven approaches, you’ll help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes.

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
  • Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person-centred care
  • Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents
  • Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes

What you'll bring to the role
  • You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it
  • You have been a manager for 35 + beds with complex behaviours and learning disability
  • We can also consider someone with older people experience if they could evidence experience with complex dementia
  • You will be enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast pace environment
