At Turning Point, we believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to live the life they choose. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supported Living Manager to provide leadership in our Wakefield Learning Disabilities services and help us continue delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

This is an exciting leadership role overseeing a portfolio of 9 supported living homes across Wakefield, managing 4 Team Managers and supporting them to deliver outstanding outcomes for the people we support.

Role Responsibility

As Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for the operational leadership and performance of multiple supported living homes, in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely alongside the Team Managers to deliver outstanding services that are safe, effective, person-centred, ensuring operational excellence, financially sustainability and alignment with Turning Point's values and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead, coach and inspire a group of Team Managers and colleagues across a cluster of homes to deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centred support.

Champion continuous improvement and learning, supporting Team Managers to coach and develop their teams effectively and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues feel valued, supported, and clear on expectations.

Hold accountability for performance, quality, governance, and financial management within the locality, ensuring consistency and compliance across all homes.

Work collaboratively and building positive relationships with colleagues, internal stakeholders, commissioners, and system partners to strengthen delivery, support growth, and maintain Turning Point’s reputation for excellence.

Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience leading health or social care services across multiple homes/sites

Knowledge of CQC and experience of managing services which are governed by these regulations

Strong leadership capability, including coaching, development and performance management of managers

Ability to use data, KPIs and insight to drive improvement and informed decision‑making

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with colleagues, internal stakeholders, commissioners and partners

NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
