Production Manager
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team of 10-12 to ensure the successful operation of the production lines. You will ensure the production line and people you are responsible for achieving the output required of them within production performance, labour resource, quality, yield and Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability targets. During your first few weeks and months in this Production Team Leader role, you can expect to:
Responsibilities- Deliver daily volumes
- Achieve planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime events
- Collaborate with QESH to deliver and improve the site’s Quality, Environment, Health and Safety standards
- Yield management to ensure delivery of all yield budget targets in ingredients and packaging
- Improve and embed operational excellence through effective site routines, with a significant focus on data-driven decisions
- The ability to engage teams and create team/individual development plans
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks using initiative
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP is advantageous but not essential
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to make critical decisions within a busy environment
