CNC Laser Operative

My client in the WF6 area require an experienced CNC Laser Operative. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laser Cutting Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication, assembly, and tooling. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities Operate Bystronic Laser Cutting Machines that fabricate components using various materials, ensuring precision and quality. Operate tooling equipment safely and effectively to achieve production targets. Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and address any production challenges.

Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and grinding machines. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
