Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 including shift premium, progression, training, company benefits, and overtime.

Location:

Wakefield (commutable to Featherstone).

Join one of the largest food packaging companies in the UK, working for clients such as Nestlé, Rowntrees and Müller.

This role involves the maintenance of factory machinery used in food packaging, including multi‑headed weighers and baggers. Responsibilities include carrying out pre‑planned maintenance schedules, reacting to machine breakdowns, and reporting any issues to the day shift team.

• Carry out pre‑planned maintenance schedules.
• React to machine breakdowns.
• Report any issues to the days‑based team.
• Work nights:
  Monday to Friday, 10 PM – 6 AM.

• Maintenance Engineer or similar qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Desire to work night shift.
• Commute to Featherstone, Wakefield.

Progression within the company, training including official qualifications, and overtime paid at 1.5x.
