CNC Miller

Multiple CNC Miller positions are available with our growing engineering organisation in Wakefield. We offer competitive hourly rates of up to £18.00 with guaranteed 150 % overtime, 30‑minute flexibility on start & finish times, and the chance to work on bespoke, state‑of‑the‑art projects.

Based in Wakefield, the role is easily accessible from surrounding towns and cities, including Leeds, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Halifax and Dewsbury.

• Operate HAAS & Hurco Machining Centres to produce components and parts for internal projects
• Create new and bespoke programmes using CAD/CAM software and HAAS/Hurco machine controls, and optimise existing programmes where applicable
• Work directly from engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure components are produced to specification

• Remuneration:
  Up to £18.00 per hour depending on experience and ability
• Working hours:
  
  37.5 hours per week (regular day shift; Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:30, Friday 08:00‑15:15, with 30‑minute start flexibility)
• Overtime always available – paid at 150 % after 37.5 hours and 200 % on Sundays
• Assignment duration: 6 months subject to company workload, with potential to transfer to permanent (not guaranteed)
