CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre) – Wakefield, England
Salary: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
Job Role: CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre)
Metalis are working with an established manufacturer looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team.
Responsibilities- Set, operate and program horizontal machining centres.
- Read and work from engineering drawings.
- Ensure machining processes are followed.
- Perform general machine maintenance.
- Carry out inspection checks on parts.
- Use manual measuring equipment.
- Apprentice trained machinist.
- Experience with horizontal machining centres.
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Experience working within a heavy engineering environment.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm;
Friday: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
