CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre)
LocationWakefield
Salary17.00 - 18.00 per hour
OverviewMetalis are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre) to join their team.
Job Duties- Set, operate and program horizontal machining centres
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Ensure machining processes are followed
- General machine maintenance
- Carry out inspection checks on parts
- Use manual measuring equipment
- Apprentice trained machinist
- Experience with horizontal machining centres
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
- Experience working within a heavy engineering environment
- 17.00 - 18.00 per hour
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 1pm
