Fabrication Team Leader – Wakefield – Monday – Friday Days – £33,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business looking for an experienced Fabrication Team Leader to join their production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fabricator/welder to develop their leadership skills in a busy production environment.

• Lead a team of fabricators/welders, ensuring output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Allocate daily workloads and monitor productivity against schedule
• Support and coach team members, driving skills development and performance
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards across the fabrication area
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and improve processes
• Champion lean manufacturing principles (5S, continuous improvement) on the shop floor

• Proven experience in a fabrication/welding environment
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong technical knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and welding techniques (MIG/TIG advantageous)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement
