Leaders in Care is recruiting a Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead a 50-bed nursing home in Rothwell, South Leeds, within reach of Wakefield.
With very low staff turnover and an established supernumerary Clinical Deputy Manager, you can focus on developing the service, supporting your team and delivering excellent care.
What’s on offer?
£70,000 basic salary

An established team, with just two care staff vacancies over the last five months
Scope to build on current standards and work towards Outstanding Make your mark as Registered Home Manager You will take responsibility for the home’s care quality, compliance, people and operational performance.
This will include:
Leading compassionate nursing and dementia care
Developing practical quality improvements that build on the home’s Good rating
Maintaining effective safeguarding, clinical audits and medication management
Supporting and developing the nursing and care teams
Working closely with the Clinical Deputy Manager on clinical standards
Managing staffing, budgets and resources effectively
Strengthening occupancy and relationships with families, commissioners and local professionals
Who we’re looking for You’ll need current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, alongside a successful track record managing a nursing home.
You should bring:
Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Registered Home Manager or Care Home Manager in a nursing setting
Strong understanding of CQC compliance, safeguarding and clinical governance
Evidence of delivering Good or Outstanding care standards
Confidence leading teams and managing home performance
Sound commercial judgement and a person-centred approach
