Yorkshire Collaboration is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a busy and supportive Children’s Services team in Wakefield. As a Senior Social Worker, you will provide high-quality statutory social work services, offer guidance to less experienced staff, and contribute to positive outcomes for vulnerable children.

• Manage a complex caseload involving children in need, child protection, and court work
• Provide professional leadership, mentoring, and support to social workers
• Complete high-quality assessments, reports, and care planning
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Ensure practice aligns with legislation, safeguarding standards, and best practice
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
