Pay rate: Upto £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type: Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are proud to introduce Sports Coaches to Wakefield schools, helping young people stay active while developing teamwork and healthy habits.

As a Sports Coach
, you will encourage pupils to participate in a variety of sports, help them build confidence, and support teamwork and personal development.

• Lead and assist in delivering sports sessions across different disciplines.
• Encourage participation, motivation, and positive engagement in physical activities.
• Teach techniques, rules, and strategies in a clear and supportive way.
• Support students in developing fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Help set up and manage equipment safely during sessions.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and encouraging environment.

• Experience coaching children or young people in sports or physical activities.
• Strong communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with pupils of varying abilities and confidence levels.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Professionalism and a responsible approach to safeguarding.
