06:00 – 18:00 Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour. Job Type: Full-Time We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Shunter to join a well-established and growing operation based in Wakefield for an extremely busy distribution centre. This role is not for the light hearted as it will involve circa 100 moves plus per day in a 12 hour period so needs someone with experience.

The Role Shunting trailers around a busy distribution site Moving vehicles safely between loading bays and designated areas Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects Working closely with warehouse and transport teams Ensuring all site safety procedures are followed Requirements Valid Class 1 (CE) Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous shunting experience preferred, but not essential Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
