HGV Class 2 Driver – Wakefield – £14.50–£18.00 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Wakefield , covering the surrounding areas. £14.50–£18.00 Per Hour | Various Shifts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Full Training | Immediate Starts This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver. Shifts
• 24-hour transport operation
• Various shifts available
• Shift times and working days to be confirmed Rates of Pay • £14.50–£18.00 per hour
• PAYE – holiday pay accrued separately

• Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Delivering kitchen and bathroom products to customers' homes alongside a Driver's Mate
• Completing loading and unloading duties with care and accuracy
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to management
• Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
• Assisting with manual handling and handball duties where required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes)
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of road safety and transport compliance
• Ability to work alongside a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Willingness to undertake manual handling duties where required

Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience handling large or bulky goods
• Good customer interaction and service skills Training Provided
