FLT Driver; Reach

My client in the BD4 area of Bardford are looking for an experienced FLT Driver - Reach and Counterbalance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating reach trucks safely, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

• Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Manage stock levels using the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards
• Support with general warehouse duties such as organising stock and maintaining a clean work environment
• Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment when necessary
• Apply basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and recording quantities accurately

• 2 year proven experience operating reach trucks or similar forklift equipment in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory procedures
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management
• Basic mathematical skills for counting, weighing, and recording data accurately
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Days / Afters (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)
