Group Facilitator is responsible for delivering the RCA Substance Abuse curriculum to patients in our residential and IOP recovery programs and supervising A&D trainee staff. The facilitator will conduct 15-20 one-hour groups per week, provide supervision and training to trainee staff, attend staff meetings, and handle required documentation.
Specific Responsibilities- Ensure that groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet learning objectives.
- Provide one hour of supervision and training to A&D Trainee status employees each week.
- Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent manner, both inside and outside group settings.
- Complete group notes and all other required paperwork.
- Complete supervisory documentation and conduct monthly group observations for each trainee.
- Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.
Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a residential setting. Maryland CAC‑AD and CAC approved supervisors license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and demonstrate analytical and problem‑solving skills.

The employee must regularly talk or hear, use hands to handle objects, occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, or lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
